New Tobacco Atlas Maps Global Epidemic

Tobacco use accounted for a 100 million deaths in the 20th century, and if left unchecked, could kill more than 1 billion people in this century. In American Cancer Society’s “ The Tobacco Atlas, Second Edition”, Drs. Mackay, Eriksen and Shafey map tobacco’s use and impact and illustrate how it is more than a health hazard, involving economics, politics, trade and crimes.
